Passenger – Young As The Morning Old As The Sea

最近比较少追踪音乐界的新闻，听到 Passenger 与 Birdy 合唱的新曲真是又惊又喜，两个好歌声的组合会创造出怎么样的乐曲，真是难以想像。果然，Passenger 与 Birdy 没有让我失望，Beautiful Birds 这首歌又是一首撼动人心的好歌。

歌词一开始叙述一对恋人，爱恋初期一切都是如此完美，只要两人在一块儿，一同歌唱、一同飞翔，世界便是美好的，就好像这世界因为他们俩的爱情而美丽一般。但转折就发生在那个春末，”But one day you asked for a different song”，有天他突然爱上了不同的曲风，谁也没想过人什么时候会改变心意。什么时候，我们心爱的人、我们自以为了解的人会在一夜之间变了个样，两人之间再也回不去从前，而“美丽的一对鸟儿”也只属于过去。”To build a nest we pecked feathers from our chests”，两人曾为了筑巢而啄下身上的羽毛，为了两人的爱付出过的心血、忍耐过的痛苦，到底有没有报偿，谁也无法肯。在热恋时，谁料得到，或许这是一场不会开花结果的爱情？
