David Bowie 是英国摇滚歌手兼创作人及演员，先前在Lana Del Rey 的 Terrence Loves You一曲中曾提到过他，以”Space Oddity”这首歌在英国音乐排行榜成名。

这次介绍David Bowie 的 Heroes 是电影《壁花男孩》的主题曲之一，是他在柏林居住时写下的歌，而歌词中出现的高墙指的是柏林围墙。描写一对情侣在柏林围墙下亲吻。David Bowie曾表示：

“I thought, of all the places to meet in Berlin, why pick a bench underneath a guard turret on the Wall?”
(我纳闷，柏林有这么多约会的地点，为何要选在柏林围墙的砲塔下接吻呢？)
