Russian Red – The Memory Is Cruel

Russian Red 原名 Lourdes Hernández，是一位独立西班牙创作歌手。最初她只是想找个带有艺术气质的艺名，才会选她最爱的口红色号作为名字。Russian Red 来自西班牙马德里，但作词、唱歌都使用英文，独特的唱腔中带有甜美与清纯，像水一般的平滑、轻盈。

The Memory Is Cruel 诉说一个对前任爱人念念不忘的故事。歌词中的 you 就是故事的主角，他爱的女孩已经永远离他而去， “she’s going to live forever” 中的 she 指的是那女孩的回忆。虽然人已离开，但她的灵魂，与她的过去却一直留在屋里，时时刻刻提醒著主角自己还爱着她，“It reminds there’s no one new” ，就是因为对前任爱人的记忆犹新，怎么也无法忘怀她的好，因此无法走出破碎的感情、无法展开下一段恋爱。
