这首歌的歌词内容其实应该算满容易懂的，没有太多模棱两可或需要解释的地方，不过有好几句虽然简单却能深深的打动人心，让人觉得：没错，这就是最单纯的爱，就是那种不用多想，只要轻轻闭上眼，对方及有关他的一切就会映入脑海，完全无法克制的那种爱。

歌词叙述一对或许该称作“友达以上，恋人未满”的男女，他想追求她，她却因为曾经受过的爱情创伤而迟迟不肯前进。在外人看来，已过去的感情就过去了，没什么好留恋，好好把握下一个更好的才正确。不过我想在爱情里根本没有正确不正确这一回事，那段已逝的感情并不是说走就走，即使我们知道再沉溺下去也于事无补，再爱下去也只会使自己受伤，但也许我们种是这份情感更胜于我们重视自己，所以宁愿受伤也不愿抛下不管。
