我曾比喻过，听 Lana Del Rey 的歌，这过程就像吸毒一样，你会沉浸在一个既颓靡又亢奋又舒适的状态，连续听几个小时都不会腻。或许 Lana 也是利用她的曲风，在歌词中玩了一点小花样。

这首歌当然可以很单纯地把它当作一首爱的表白歌曲，惋惜尚未向离开的爱人表白，想起过去两人相处时的美好日子。不过看得更深入，或者说看得更黑暗面一点，会发现很多小东西是别有用心的。歌词中，将爱人比喻为夏日的冰淇淋，好像很可口，其实就是象征一段短暂的夏日恋情，如同 Summer Time Sadness 一曲，虽然她深爱着对方，但她知道对方只是个过客，夏日结束，便如融化了的冰淇淋一样。 Medellín, tangerine dreams 这一句也很有趣， Medellín 是以买卖走私毒品出名。歌词中应该是指吸食毒品后的幻觉，看见关于橘子的梦境。或许她是为了忘记失去爱人的痛苦而吸毒，又或许只是为了娱乐自己？为何说是娱乐自己呢？因为这首歌里面全都是奢华靡烂的意象，几乎没有一点难过心碎的氛围。或许她早以知道，她的爱人萨尔瓦多终会离开她，所以宁可吸毒享乐，不愿面对现实。

另外一个很有趣的地方是 ciao amore ， ciao 字面上有两种可能的意思，一是哈囉，二是掰掰，所以她看似呼唤着她的爱人，其实是在说再见，寻找下一段恋情。
