Ed Sheeran-The A Team

我想这首歌最厉害的地方，在于利用轻快的节奏和正面含蓄的用字，呈现一个貌似明朗欢喜的氛围，但其实背后诉说的是一个悲惨不堪的故事。如果不注意歌词，还真的会误以为这首歌是轻松活泼的抒情歌，而没有发现故事残酷的一面。

整首歌无论是歌名或内容，几乎都没有很直接的提及“毒品”或“嫖妓”之类的词汇，只是用其他中性一点的词来代替，像是用 snowflakes（雪花）来代替毒品的白粉，而嫖妓的部分也只用Call girl, no phone简单带过。这样的文字游戏，一方面让人更深入的思考，这些社会低层与黑暗面充斥在社会中是多么不被人注意到，另一方面也提醒了我们，我们平常就只看那些我们想看的，只看见城市里的灯红酒绿，只看见名人的花边新闻，而那些不为人知的勾当就这样轻轻松松被遗忘在角落。

歌词最后的angel dies也不单是字面上的天使已死而已，angel象征纯洁、贞操，所以歌词里的女孩为了凑钱买毒品而去卖淫，用委婉一点的方式说，就是说她的angel has died，她的贞操已不再。以如此曲折委婉的方式道出一个令人不堪的悲惨故事，了解故事内容后反而令人觉得更加不忍，更加无奈。
