最近已经介绍了不少 Daughter 女儿乐团的歌曲，相信大家对这个乐团的风格不陌生。这次介绍的 Candles 也如同先前的歌曲，唱出恋人心中的有苦难言，不过更加隐晦，更加深沈。

Candles 说的是两个无法成为恋人的人，她愿意为他付出一切，但他却只把她当作是欲望的对象。从”You’re too old to be so shy”、”Just a young heart confusing my mind”、”Wide-eyed, like we’re in a crime scene” 等句子，可以大略推测他带领她一步步走进性与情欲的世界。而她只是个涉世未深的年轻女子，对一切好奇、对一切困惑，面对眼前的新奇，她感到害羞、感到罪恶，却无从拒绝。
