电影《大亨小传》的主题曲，在 Lana Del Rey 慵懒的唱腔中带着悲哀与无奈，本该是一首情歌，与电影结合在一起，竟成了一首咏叹爱情的悲歌。

歌词中的女主角，担心爱人因自己年华老去而不再爱她。关于这一点，我们可以问的是，歌词中的”he”指的是谁？是 Gatsby 吗？还是女主角的丈夫呢？由歌词第一段，叙述年少时的疯狂时光来判断，”he” 指的应该是 Gatsby 。那么，或许不少人会问，黛西是因为荣华富贵才离开当时贫穷的 Gatsby 吗？有可能，但我想，更大的可能是，她担心她的年华即将老去，再过几年，她便开始衰老，不再美丽。她不知道，Gatsby 是否真会有所成就，发达后又是否真会继续爱她。于是，何不趁现在年轻貌美，嫁给另一个虽然不是最爱、但可以保证自己不浪费青春的人呢？

” Will you still love me when I’m not young and beautiful ?” 或许这是每个女人都想过的问题。从电影中，我们得不到解答。一如铁达尼号的故事如此美丽，会许就是因为 Jack 和 Rose 都在最年轻貌美时爱着对方。或许在Gatsby 眼中，黛西如此诱人，是因为 Gatsby 的记忆里永远都是过去那个年轻貌美的黛西。
