Peter Paul and Mary-Blowing in the wind

Blowing in the wind是美國越戰期間，Bob Dylan為了反戰而寫的歌曲，不過後來卻是被樂團Peter Paul and Mary唱紅了。

歌詞一開始就讓人們反思，到底怎麼樣的人，才夠格被稱為男子漢?是要像傳統思想一樣，英勇善戰，面對敵人絕不手下留情嗎?或許在當時的情況下，大家反戰的情緒高張，屹立不搖的鐵漢形相已不再能表現出人們心目中得真男人，反而是象徵和平的白鴿形相更受到人們喜歡。

這首歌在當時以反戰為背景而深得人心，但我想，即使這首歌不以戰爭為背景，一樣有它發人深省的地方，在這裡我以一個拋開戰爭的觀點來詮釋這首歌。它訴說得是每個人心中剛強與柔弱的一面，固然夠剛強才能夠堅持己見，不為外在雜物所動搖，但太剛強是會傷人的，如果自己只是一味的固執己見，那麼身旁的人或許會認為他們對我們自己來說是微不足道的，因為他們的苦口婆心絲毫不能影響我們一點想法，他們的哭喊對我們來說只像噪音一樣，絲毫無法博得我們那麼一點同情。

以這種拋開戰爭的觀點來看這首歌，或許少了些甚麼，但誰說，攸關性命的存活的事一定比關於心情好壞的事情重要或沉重呢?

這首歌之所以以Blowing in the Wind為名，我想是因為人類的一切仇恨都是微不足道的，一切爭執都是不足以引發戰爭的，所以，就該放手，讓這些如塵土般微小的紛爭隨風而去吧!
