Oasis – The Masterplan

The Masterplan 是 Oasis 的眾多經典之一，作者 Noel Gallagher 甚至曾說過他認為 The Masterplan 是他創作生涯中最成功的一首歌曲。Noel Gallagher 解釋過，這首歌是關於害怕變老、對於時間不斷流逝，自己卻什麼也無法留住而感到恐懼。

若你有想說的話，便大聲說出口，把握當下，在還有音樂時盡情跳舞，因為 All we know is that we don’t know，我們唯一能確定的就是我們對人生、對命運一點也不懂、一點也無法掌握。有太多事情無法確定，我們不知道上天的安排，但 The answer’s in the looking glass，鏡中的自己是唯一的答案，我們唯一有辦法掌握的是我們自己的選擇。There’s four and twenty million doors/Down life’s endless corridor，我們的人生道路就像一道無盡長廊，長廊中無數道門是我們面臨的種種選擇。生命中我們能掌握、能選擇的，必須盡力把握，但對於未知的將來以及已逝的過去，就 let it be，隨它們去吧。

在我們迷失方向、覺得渺小無助時，就像上天偉大計劃中的一顆棋子一樣。冥冥之中自有安排，但我們永遠也無法理解，也無法改變。又或許跟本沒有所謂 Masterplan，只有一團混沌的未知數，也因此，我們能把握的當下更顯珍貴。
