Lana Del Rey – Video Games

每次聽Lana Del Rey都有一種吸毒的解放感覺，不過既然有這麼好的音樂可以聽，還要毒品做甚麼?

Video Games 一樣很有Lana Del Rey強烈的風格，有點慵懶，又帶又沉醉在其中，如夢似幻的感覺。對於以”Video Games“做為歌名，可以有滿多解釋的，一是敘述者認為男友只顧著玩電玩而忽略了自己，不過這解釋太字面了，個人認為下面兩種解釋更恰當。二是男友只把自己當作像電玩一樣的玩物而已，並不珍惜不好好疼愛，即使自己毫無保留的愛著，換來的卻不是對等的感情，雖然如此，卻仍然願意為對方做任何事。第三種video games則不純粹是實質的電玩，video games在這首歌裡象徵的是一個虛幻的世界，一個唯有和自己全心全意愛著的人在一起時才存在的世界。

又或許可以將第二和第三種解釋擺在一起，和自己深愛的人在一起時，最方只把這場愛當作遊戲，玩玩就好，想玩就玩，不想玩就擺著，game over時另開一局，而對於敘述者來說，自己同樣是將這場愛看作一場video game，但卻是因為這愛太美好，如此美妙的愛只有在虛幻的世界才能得到，這虛幻世界或許就是歌詞中說的heaven is a place on earth with you吧，因此格外珍惜，為了自己所愛的人，做甚麼都願意，即使對於對方只把自己當作玩物這件事心知肚明，卻仍然毫無怨言，甘心當對方的video game。

雖然是心甘情願的全心愛著對方，但這首歌還是帶著淡淡的悲傷，為甚麼呢?，重點並不在於歌詞裡寫了些甚麼，真正的悲傷在於歌詞裡沒有寫到的部分。”They say that the world was built for two/ Only worth living if somebody is loving you”唯有當有人愛著你時，你才算真正活著，接著就只剩下An’ baby, now you do，因為有人深深愛著你，所以你可以說是真正活在這世上了，問題是，那自己呢?對方只把自己當作消遣，當作物品，那麼自己算是有活著的意義嗎?這些都是沒有寫出來的，只由一句now you do來掩蓋自己的悲傷。

說了的不一定代表甚麼，沒說的也不代表沒什麼。
