每個人一定都希望在這世上有那麼一個人是瞭解自己的，能夠和自己分享各種快樂與悲傷，但可惜的是，能夠真正瞭解自己，並且那種了解程度又不致於讓自己感到不舒服的人少之又少。聽到這首歌，我心想，到底有誰有那麼大的能耐，對另一個人說I know all about you？

曾讀過一篇文章，大意是說，在我們難過無助的時候，只要有一個朋友能陪在身邊，跟我們說一聲「我懂」，這就足以化解心底一大半的悲傷，但我總覺得不是這樣的。

“I know all about you”不只是一味的以單方面的角度去揣測另一個人，更是抹煞了另一個人的獨特性。當一個人說「我懂」時，與其說是感到被了解，倒不如說是這個人自以為是的以為他了解我們，並且理所當然的簡單化我們的煩惱，理所當然的不把我們的悲傷當作悲傷。每個人都是很不一樣的，怎麼可能有一個人會完全懂另一個人呢?假如他不完全懂，那麼又為何要這麼說呢?

或許是我將這首歌想得太嚴肅了吧!或許那句I know all about you只是想告訴對方，I want to know more about you，這樣是不是能化解更多的悲傷呢?
