Groove Armada – Think Twice

Think Twice 是我無意間在 Youtube 上聽見的歌曲，一聽就愛上這種帶點慵懶、沮喪、無奈的唱腔和曲風，即使在了解歌詞之前，就已經被深深吸引。但首先必須說，這首歌的歌詞看了又看，實在不是很確定意思，再加上要配合句與句之間的流暢，所以在翻譯上沒有一字一字對到，有些是經過我自己的詮釋才翻出來的，有問題的話也請大家多指教。

我想這首歌說的是一種疲累的狀態，對工作、對感情、對生活、甚至對生命都感到疲憊且無所適從，努力過卻達不到目標的一種焦慮與無助。這種焦慮無助的感覺，或許就是歌詞第二段所說的”Larger than life, niceties, bigger than you, more than me”，這種感覺或許很瑣碎，不足以殺死你，卻足以令你失眠無數個夜晚，正是這種心情阻撓了一切，阻撓了你我之間的進展，阻撓了生命的正常運作。

歌詞中還提到了 Monday blue/ Sincere, caramel, champagne，我想，這裡想表達的是工作與感情上的困擾，他願意吞下難過，討另一半開心，他對對方的真心卻無所回報。有太多煩心的事情，他無法處理，唯一能做的，只有「閉上雙眼，拋下那個下沉的感覺」。

最後一段的歌詞我非常喜歡，把「生命」擬人成一個狡詐的 bitch，他不想再與「生命」這傢伙鬥了，只想奮力打它一拳。誰知道，這一拳的反彈卻傷得他更痛，痛到他不想活。如此簡單卻鮮明的比喻，深刻說明了我們與生命搏鬥顯得多麽渺小，也帶點諷刺，說明我們唯有忍受、唯有委屈，其他都只是徒勞。
