無意間在網上聽見這首歌曲，很喜歡歌詞間帶出來的意境，以及主唱隨性的調調。Tango with lions 是一個來自希臘的獨立民謠/搖滾樂團。 In a Bar 這首歌我想它純粹想表達的是一種孤獨、希望能被同理的心情。

敘述者晚上要去見個朋友，但說是朋友，或許也不是，至少這個朋友並不是一個能夠讓他感到有所陪伴、有所歸屬的朋友，甚至他還必須說 A laugh I need to show，他無法完全做自己，需要顧及對方的感受，在適當的時刻展露笑容以示禮貌。

他厭倦了這樣無意義的約會，他期待，會不會在酒吧裡，也有另一個人，帶著和他一樣寂寞的心，喝著同樣苦澀的酒。如果真有這麼一個人，帶著和他同樣的心情，出現在酒吧裡，這兩顆寂寞的心又會因為彼此而感到一絲絲安慰嗎？
