最初只是無意間聽到 Angus and Julia Stone 的 For You ，覺得 Julia Stone 的聲音很獨特，結果就這樣一首接一首停不下來了。Angus and Julia Stone 的音樂有種輕鬆小品的感覺，快樂的歌每首都甜甜淡淡的，悲傷的歌也是輕描淡寫，或許就是這種淡淡的哀傷與快樂顯得如此特別，好像輕輕拂過我們的心卻能深深打動。

And the Boys 這首歌說的是人們在愛情中一次次犯下的錯、一次次傷透了誰的心、卻又一次次為誰心動。敘事者厭倦了在她生命中來來去去的男孩們，不管是另一半或者是她自己都一而再再而三地做出傷害對方的事，導致感情破裂。”And there’s gold falling from the ceiling of this world”中的 ceiling 指的是像神一樣的存在，上天給她機會，要她好好把握如金子般珍貴的愛，但人在愛情中總是學不會。她一再錯過、一再讓愛溜走。附歌部份重複出現的 “falling from” 用得很巧妙，一開始是實質上的從天上「掉下來」，後來則是有「搞砸」、「出錯」的意味。

或許在複雜的感情生活中，能有一首如此貼切的歌曲來嘲笑我們，也算挺幸運的吧。笑我們一遇到愛情便成了傻子，什麼也學不會，只會一再傷心、一再被傷。
