自从在 Lana Del Rey 的 Tomorrow Never Came 中认识到 Sean Lennon 之后，发现他有好多不错的歌曲。这首 Wait for Me 有点俏皮而轻快的曲风中却透露著无尽的悲伤。

第一段所指的应该是他的父亲 John Lennon 被枪击的事件。他感慨人都难逃一死，没有任何原因。So take your time but don’t take mine ，他鼓励人们好好利用自己的时间，尽力做好想做的事，但别拿你自己的理由，来影响到我，浪费了我的时间。Lose yourself but don’t lose your mind，你可以任由自己天马行空的想像，但想像终究不是现实，别因为想像而丧心病狂，害自己与别人遭殃。

第二段 Somewhere between the moon and the sea ，指的是类似阴阳两界交界处的地方，也就是生与死的边界。他或许是害怕孤独，害怕离开人世时一个人走，因此，他与某人相约在那里，至少黄泉之路有人相伴能好过些。他愿意等待，而且他也相信对方会等著自己。

第三段我想有点小小的嘲讽，嘲讽那些做了不该做的事的人不知懊悔，因为他们对于自己的所作所为毫不在乎，甚至已经遗忘。You can’t regret what you forget if only you could forget it，要懊悔，必定是对某事耿耿于怀，过意不去，但若你心里早已放下、遗忘，那当然也没有懊悔之情可谈。
