Say Something 這首歌一開始是因為在網上亂看電影預告片，不小心在電影[如果我留下] 的預告片中聽到的。才看第一次預告片，一聽到這首歌馬上就被吸引，（不是被電影吸引，而是配樂XD），電影劇情是說一對戀人正邁向大好前程，不過女主角突然在一場車禍中重傷昏迷，男主角衷心期望她能醒來，而女主角的靈魂則做為旁觀者，看者自己所愛的人們，最後做出決定。

不確定這首歌是為了電影而作還是配樂配得好，感覺歌詞所說的正是電影中男主角的心情。當他看著自己的愛人身陷昏迷，一句話也沒辦法說，不知道這是拒絕自己還是只是沉默，這種時候該做何反應？沉默，是比拒絕更遙遠的距離，是無止盡的等待與忐忑，會不會，其實對方一句話，說聲我要走了，自己反而會比較好過？
