Birdy – Beautiful Lies album

柏蒂 Birdy 2016 年新專輯 Beautiful Lies 中的歌曲 Wild Horses 猶如先前的單曲 Let It All Go 一般鼓舞人心，撫慰所有受傷的心靈。兩首歌的內容十分相似，不過曲風卻完全不同。 Let It All Go 與David Rhodes 合唱，沈穩的嗓音配上抒情的鋼琴配樂，令人先因分手難過一番，再開始思索如何振奮，而 Wild Horses 則一開始就節奏明快，帶給人截然不同的感覺。

歌詞內容敘述一段破碎的感情。歌曲中的女主角起初也捨不得放手，”an angel shaped like you” 指的就是仍然徘徊在心中忘不掉的回憶。暗室中的光則表示再怎麼悲傷的困境都有走出來的可能。”Our fading scars just shooting stars/ They’re here, then go”把永遠烙印在身上的傷疤比喻成流星，讓它劃過天際成為最美的句點。

不可否認， Birdy 的聲音及音樂真的能帶給人很多正能量，但個人還是比較喜歡像是 Strange Birds 那樣的曲風，畢竟悲傷比喜悅更容易傳染，是吧？
